![]() ![]() The 5.11 RUSH24 is a 37-liter military backpack that features a large main storage area, side pockets, and a Molle web platform. Only bring the important stuff if we plan to bring this bag for outdoor activities. Heads-up: However, the strap gets a little uncomfortable when we put a lot of weight on the bag. The zippers are also well-made, especially that they come with a three-month warranty. I feel that the 600D polyester fabric can hold up well against constant abuse. I’m glad that I can stick my favorite patches on the front for a little customization.Īt first glance, this slim tactical backpack looks sturdy. The largest front pocket fits my 9-inch tablet, and it’s zippered for safety. I found many internal pockets that can hold essentials securely, like smartphones, wallets, and documents. Two clips on both sides make it interchangeable between the right or left-hand side, while the strap on top makes it convenient as a handbag. We can carry it as a chest bag, cross body pack, handbag, or even a diaper bag. What I love best is the versatility of this small EDC bag. The capacity is at about seven liters, which is enough to carry a few necessities for everyday carry. This G4Free small tactical pack comes in a sling bag style, which is perfect for when I want less burden on my shoulder. Heads-up: The only thing I dislike is the unpleasant odor that I smell from the package. I feel comfortable wearing this small army backpack because the back and shoulder straps are padded and ventilated with a mesh material. Thankfully, the patch is velcro-style, so I can replace it with my favorite patches. This low profile tactical backpack comes with a USA flag patch that we can stick at the front pocket. The material is sort of a high-density fabric that resists water and stains. Everything is double-stitched, and the zippers seem heavy-duty because they still remain intact after pulling them harshly. The construction is quite hefty on this one. ![]() The best part is that we can load the bag, even with a 2.5-liter hydration bladder, and still can pass it as a carry-on during flights. Additionally, the molle webbing is secure enough to attach extra tactical gear or pouches to make a reliable small assault pack. I think the amount of pockets is just right to keep things organized and remember where they are. There’s plenty of room for a first aid kit, stove, cookware, clothes, etc. This small military backpack from REEBOW offers 40 liters of capacity to store all our essentials for a 3-day adventure. ![]() ![]() C4 space has always been seen as trash for PvE (due to site spawn distances) and anecdotally there is a bias against C4 residents historically. There is likely also a belief that C5 space still has lots of PvP which just doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. I suspect C3s and C5s are common statics because they are both good farming classes for 300m+ ISK per hour. Obvious very few people have a C1 static because they’re generally useless wormholes and are difficult to roll. Sadly, a proper brawl is difficult to come by these days. It’s troubling because we didn’t brawl over objectives like nullseccers do. You can catch a glimpse of it these days when your logi are on point or if you build for buffer, but heavy armour as a concept is a little bit dead. I remember being a line member in Lazerhawks back in 2015-16 and the usual fights were truly immense. This topic itself is huge so I’ll limit myself for now and cover it in a later article, but the community isn’t particularly happy about how our brawls don’t happen any more. You combine that with our typical brawl ships melting unless they have turbo bling/Amulet implants and you get an unhealthy wormhole brawl meta. Caps which now have much-reduced resists and in the case of FAXes, heavily reduced capacitors. A Leshak (or Ikitursa) fleet still brings an unprecedented level of power to a brawl, especially when melting caps. FAX changes, and Triglavian ships existing. So why are C5 and C6 so… quiet? I could write a whole article on this but it seems like it’s down to a combo of Surgical Strike. Living in a C1 or a C3 isn’t great because it means you rarely have reliable connections into the rest of wormhole space. Most of the active PvP groups are living in C4s and C2s simply for the plentiful connections for more PvP. If we take the results as they are, though, they do reflect what I have seen in wormhole space anecdotally. It might also be that many of the high-class residents dislike me personally and refused to fill in my survey for that reason. This pretty much follows the pattern I expected, though it really does highlight the lack of people living in C5/C6 space. ![]() To start with, let’s go over the basic stats for each question, starting with corps! The top ten corps (by number of respondents) to answer the survey are below. I did this to create some better scatter plots which aren’t entirely defined to a grid which just hides all the responses on one single dot. This is randomised up between 0 and 1 below the selected value. You will also notice some randomised values in there alongside the sentiment responses. There is no reason to publish those publically. ![]() The names were for the giveaway and the corps give me an idea of which groups participated. If you’re an expert at data analysis and can pull some more useful information out of this then contact me on Discord and I’ll get your analysis presented here in the article! Names and corps have been omitted from the public data. ![]() I’m also going to provide a document with the full results at the Google Sheets link below. It’s a hell of a lot of useful data but as you’ll see from the results below, they’re a little bit predictable. I’ve pruned it down a little bit since to remove trolls and “click the same thing for everything” answers but there are still over 800 results to play with. That was a lot more than I expected! I closed the Great Big Wormhole Survey about 10 days ago with 833 total responses. ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s easy to normnalize your audio and the effects are easy to apply. ![]() Again, it can’t multi-track, but it makes up for this with usability and features. My absolute favourite feature of this software is the batch processing (which I discussed in the introduction). It doesn’t support multi-tracking so you can only edit stereo or mono audio files. So is audio scrubbing, which can be very handy. Reverse reverb: here’s how to create this cool trick. There are also some great analysis tools for more advanced users. There are lots of bundled effects including noise removal, compression and reverb. The interface may not be as sleek as some of the editors listed here, but it makes up for this in features. This is ideal if you are recording or editing on the fly and don’t want to install large programme on to your laptop.Ī slightly older DAW, but still highly useful. More on recording voice and mixing vocals here.īut for editing stereo music files, or mono audio files (such as a voice recording) this is awesome. You can’t have a multi-track session and record several instruments in your home studio and mix them. One downside of this software is that it only supports single stereo/ mono files. There are lots of useful tools (such as a spectogram) for the more advanced user. It’s easy to record audio straight in to the software as well. The editor has VST support so you can use your own plugins. But in ocenaudio you can play with the parameters of the effect and hear the changes instantly. This is a huge benefit as most free editors are destructive (they record effects straight to the audio) so you have to rely on a ‘preview’ button. It’s bundled with loads of effects (including compression, EQ and reverb) that you can apply and tweak in real-time. It’s so easy to use! It’s fast and it’s lightweight compared to Audacity. This new simple audio editor has a clean and colourful user interface. This is an awesome starting point for anyone wanting a free editor. It looks a bit ancient, but it gets the job done. The user interface is not particularly appealing, and there a lot of features that you’ll rarely use that clutter the tool bar. You might also like our post on how to eq vocals.
